Jack Hartpence
Jack Hartpence serves as a Co-Founder of PowWater. After a near-death car accident in 2017, he recognized that the purpose of life is to help others and this world we call home. Jack and his team started PowWater to provide as many people as possible with access to water, the foundation for quality of life on earth today.
PowWater currently works in close partnership with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and has brought sustainable clean water to over 200,000 people across East Africa and South Asia. In 2021, PowWater was inducted into the Business Call to Action, a UNDP consortium of the top 250 businesses in the world tackling the SDG’s. I have been featured as a panelist on Youth, Technology, and Social Entrepreneurship at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, in Nairobi at the East Africa Social Business Summit, as well as in Dhaka at Nobel Peace Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus’ social business incubator, YY Ventures.
